In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind R.C. Marseille's goalkeeper Gustave Lechat, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Faruk Nafiz Ünalp kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Florent Travers struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Feliberto Gaskon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for R.C. Marseille. Feliberto Gaskon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Teinturier in the 93rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, POSSE 1911 FC's Saverio Ilazki got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute of the match Florent Travers shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Feliberto Gaskon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 95 minutes into the game, R.C. Marseille's Paulo Teinturier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Feliberto Gaskon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. When the final whistle went the supporters of POSSE 1911 FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant R.C. Marseille side.
