The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Jereba 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Deen Castronovo came free, but Romeu da Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 4 minutes into the match, Ogro F.C.'s Deen Castronovo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romeu da Cunha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ogro F.C. were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Jereba 4EVER's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aaron Spears took the corner. Romeu da Cunha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Deen Castronovo went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jereba 4EVER's goalkeeper Romeu da Cunha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ogro F.C. were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Jereba 4EVER's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aaron Spears took the corner. Ogro F.C.'s Pedro Paulo Penha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Ogro F.C. from getting a goal against them. Dudu Pimenta kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Romeu da Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deen Castronovo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th match minute, Ogro F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josh Freese to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Paulo Penha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vito Porto in the 30th minute. In the 36th minute Deen Castronovo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeu da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Deen Castronovo in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romeu da Cunha saved Jereba 4EVER from getting behind. Romeu da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deen Castronovo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Clive Burr's late challenge caught a Jereba 4EVER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clive Burr helped the player get up and apologised. Ogro F.C. made a substitution. Mario Duplantier replaced Alexandre Aposan. A collision led to Ogro F.C. getting a freekick after 49 minutes play. Clive Burr hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vito Porto to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Jereba 4EVER's Romeu da Cunha got control of the ball when Deen Castronovo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jereba 4EVER's Romeu da Cunha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Jereba 4EVER from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Brodel in the 60th minute of play forced Ogro F.C.'s goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vito Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Pedro Paulo Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jereba 4EVER's Romeu da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clive Burr in the 89th minute of play. Romeu da Cunha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Deen Castronovo in the 89th minute. In the 91st minute Clive Burr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeu da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramon Montagner who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Romeu da Cunha when he managed to save the team from getting behind. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ogro F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
