Spectators: 157 (Terracing: 118, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Iustin Neagoe started the match with the kick off. Aldo Gilens short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Manole Ghiondea to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 4th minute, Sabin Zbârnea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santa Margarita's Eriberto Thomas got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manole Ghiondea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robustiano Lizardi in the 9th minute of play. Galati Harbour Cats's Manole Ghiondea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Galati Harbour Cats from getting a goal against them. The throw-in from Baldomero Berbiz in the 13th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Galati Harbour Cats's Ion Bulencea. In the 14th minute Liviu Soare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Jerrald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filip Mavrogheni during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Galati Harbour Cats's Filip Mavrogheni got a free kick in the 17th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laureano Eztebe in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manole Ghiondea saved Galati Harbour Cats from getting behind. Robustiano Lizardi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manole Ghiondea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Eztebe in the 28th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Manole Ghiondea successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Laureano Eztebe to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Eusebio Ezkerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 57 minutes, Robustiano Lizardi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santa Margarita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robustiano Lizardi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manole Ghiondea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Gilen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Santa Margarita's Eusebio Ezkerra got a free kick in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Atarratze in the 66th minute of play forced Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper Manole Ghiondea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Santa Margarita's zone, Iustin Neagoe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uriel Jerrald came out of the goal and Iustin Neagoe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aldo Gilen in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manole Ghiondea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Manole Ghiondea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aldo Gilen's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. In the 80th match minute, Galati Harbour Cats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manole Anghel to maneuver through the defense. Eriberto Thomas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Manole Ghiondea. Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Filip Mavrogheni kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute of the match Simon Atarratze shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manole Ghiondea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 86th minute, Sabin Zbârnea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santa Margarita's Eriberto Thomas got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baldomero Berbiz hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the game, Ion Bulencea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galati Harbour Cats's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santa Margarita the free kick. Santa Margarita were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
