Anísio Paiva started the match with the kick off. Gabriel Siqueira might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manole Ghiondea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel Siqueira ran back to his position shaking his head. Manole Ghiondea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcus Pinho in the 10th minute. Basarab Zdroană charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Basarab Zdroană the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Guga Arruda sped through Galati Harbour Cats's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Manole Ghiondea. Panait Acalinei hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 28th match minute, Galati Harbour Cats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liviu Soare to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustin Neagoe in the 31st minute of play forced Atlético São Sebastião's goalkeeper Renatinho Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Galati Harbour Cats's goal looked a bit too open when Alexsandro Moreno came free, but Manole Ghiondea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Guga Arruda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Manole Ghiondea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anísio Paiva in the 39th minute of play forced Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper Manole Ghiondea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iustin Neagoe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Atlético São Sebastião booed when Galati Harbour Cats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Liviu Soare didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manole Ghiondea made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Gabriel Siqueira sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Atlético São Sebastião's Alejandro Donati got a free kick in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The throw-in from David Macamete in the 54th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Atlético São Sebastião's Alexsandro Moreno. The supporters of Atlético São Sebastião booed when Galati Harbour Cats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basarab Zdroană didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Siqueira in the 55th minute of play forced Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper Manole Ghiondea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Siqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manole Ghiondea having to interfere. In the 61stth minute of the game Iustin Neagoe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético São Sebastião's Renatinho Bastos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 62nd minute Galati Harbour Cats were awarded a corner. Manole Anghel went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Liviu Soare heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Anísio Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Manole Ghiondea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Galati Harbour Cats booed when Atlético São Sebastião was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauã Galvão didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Galati Harbour Cats's goal looked a bit too open when Guga Arruda came free, but Manole Ghiondea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Anísio Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iustin Neagoe kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Basarab Zdroană kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Renatinho Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustin Neagoe, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Wilian Pena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the Atlético São Sebastião players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
