After having played for 5 minutes, Raul Acosta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salinas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Acosta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15th minute Raul Acosta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Procopio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match Ambrosio Frasco climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Javier Procopio. Severo Acevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Santhiagos Feli Club's Severo Acevedo in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Salinas FC's goalie prevented a goal. Ambrosio Frasco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Javier Procopio made a huge save. The corner ended in Faustino Txindoki almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Santhiagos Feli Club's Javier Procopio did a great save. After 33 played minutes Salinas FC got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Salvadore. After 40 minutes Salinas FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pablo Firmo who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Santhiagos Feli Club's corner Pablo Firmo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Elvio Lohitzun quite easily take care of the ball. Javier Procopio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Acosta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Acevedo in the 43rd minute of play forced Salinas FC's goalkeeper Elvio Lohitzun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Santhiagos Feli Club booed when Salinas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Frasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Higinio Salvadore's late challenge caught a Santhiagos Feli Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Higinio Salvadore helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Salinas FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! Severo Acevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Elvio Lohitzun made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paolo Manni during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Paolo Manni kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Santhiagos Feli Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pablo Firmo in the 73rd minute. Santhiagos Feli Club's Pablo Firmo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Elvio Lohitzun in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 75 played minutes Salinas FC got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Frasco. Aureliano Primo hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adan Caitano in the 78th minute of play forced Salinas FC's goalkeeper Elvio Lohitzun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rosendo Arlo struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Elvio Lohitzun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santhiagos Feli Club. In the 88th match minute, Santhiagos Feli Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anier Dimas to maneuver through the defense. Salinas FC's Paolo Manni got his second yellow card of the match in the 93rd minute. The referee ordered Paolo Manni off the ground. After a rather tough play, Salinas FC's Paolo Manni got a free kick in the 94th minute.
