When Wanderson de Lima fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leripe Lifestyle's protests and gave Wanderson de Lima a yellow card for diving instead. The A.A FÊNIX fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when A.A FÊNIX's Ceferino Oihenarte looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zé Carlos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceferino Oihenarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ceferino Oihenarte in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Carlos saved Leripe Lifestyle from getting behind. Zé Carlos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Harriet, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 16 minutes into the match, A.A FÊNIX's goalkeeper Silvano Lohitzun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leo Junior. In the 16th minute, Filomeno Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Silvano Lohitzun managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Leripe Lifestyle's Rubinho Nogueira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 19th minute, Rubinho Nogueira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvano Lohitzun was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Zé Carlos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Haimar in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Harriet in the 23rd minute of play forced Leripe Lifestyle's goalkeeper Zé Carlos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Humberto Haimar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Carlos having to interfere. The A.A FÊNIX fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when A.A FÊNIX's Humberto Haimar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zé Carlos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceferino Oihenarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in A.A FÊNIX's zone, Rubinho Nogueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvano Lohitzun came out of the goal and Rubinho Nogueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 38 minutes into the game, A.A FÊNIX's Ceferino Oihenarte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zé Carlos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. When Leripe Lifestyle's Wanderson de Lima in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A.A FÊNIX's goalie prevented a goal. When Bernardo Lehoi fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.A FÊNIX's protests and gave Bernardo Lehoi a yellow card for diving instead. Bernardo Lehoi kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After the first half A.A FÊNIX were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ceferino Oihenarte made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Leripe Lifestyle's Luan de Castro got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Zé Carlos made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Ceferino Oihenarte sent off a good shot on target. Zé Carlos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Haimar in the 57th minute of play. Ceferino Oihenarte came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zé Carlos could save by the left post. Humberto Haimar struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Zé Carlos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.A FÊNIX. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Humberto Haimar in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Carlos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 83 minutes into the match, Leripe Lifestyle's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Oihenarte came free, but Zé Carlos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 87 played minutes Leripe Lifestyle got a freekick which was hit by Celsinho Eger. Silvano Lohitzun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubinho Nogueira in the 89th minute of the match. Zé Carlos was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Humberto Haimar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Humberto Haimar really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. After having played for 95 minutes, Humberto Haimar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.A FÊNIX's supporters crossed their fingers, but Humberto Haimar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Leripe Lifestyle supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching A.A FÊNIX's performance. The match ended with a win for A.A FÊNIX.
