The wind increased when Allard Schaap made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Foro Abadia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Olfers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dirk-Jan Zwartkruis came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Rondo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dirk-Jan Zwartkruis couldn't finish the play. After 53 minutes, Elequemedo Abellaneda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chuquisaca and the Rondo players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Foro Abadia in the 72nd minute of play forced Rondo's goalkeeper Andy Olfers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 76 played minutes Rondo got a freekick which was hit by Daniël van Zonderen. Roberto Del Bonis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ben Brandsma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
