The supporters of Cosmos Soccer Club booed when 苍穹拓荒者队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. 秦耀榕 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franklin Willingham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 曲帆誉 having to interfere. After 22 minutes of play, Cosmos Soccer Club's Cyrus Crouch made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 曲帆誉 was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 24th minute, Franklin Willingham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 27 minutes, Cliff Randall mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cosmos Soccer Club and the 苍穹拓荒者队 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cliff Randall kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 34th minute 秦耀榕 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruce Nesbitt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Cyrus Crouch kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving 曲帆誉. That made the score 3-0 in the 36 minute of play. 苍穹拓荒者队's 高克浩 got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bruce Nesbitt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 高克浩 in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Cosmos Soccer Club's Franklin Willingham ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind 曲帆誉. 曲帆誉 yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cyrus Crouch made a kick off. 苍穹拓荒者队's 曲帆誉 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Russ Thorne in the 55th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 方泉雄 during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 56 played minutes 苍穹拓荒者队 got a freekick which was hit by 方泉雄. 58 minutes into the match, 苍穹拓荒者队's goal looked a bit too open when Cyrus Crouch came free, but 曲帆誉 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to 苍穹拓荒者队 getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. 高克浩 hit a great ball. After 67 played minutes Cosmos Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Franklin Willingham. 高克浩 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruce Nesbitt having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Russ Thorne left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cosmos Soccer Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 高克浩 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruce Nesbitt having to interfere. 81 minutes into the game, 秦耀榕 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Bruce Nesbitt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 84 minutes into the match, Cyrus Crouch notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of 苍穹拓荒者队's 曲帆誉. 曲帆誉 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 88 minutes into the match, Cosmos Soccer Club's goalkeeper Bruce Nesbitt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 秦耀榕. 曲帆誉 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyrus Crouch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 秦耀榕 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
