Paolo Selatse might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andres Belasko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paolo Selatse ran back to his position shaking his head. The Boulogne F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Boulogne F.C.'s Fernando Joey looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ladislao Nesto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siro Menendo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When Samuel Mercurio fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boulogne F.C.'s protests and gave Samuel Mercurio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute, one of Boulogne F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Boulogne F.C.. CACYFA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
