In the 3rd minute Ulisses Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karhan Okyanus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Şentürk Hürsev got free with Samuel Andrade in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Samuel Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Numan Ağaverdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the game, Şentürk Hürsev recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Samuel Andrade. Şentürk Hürsev showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Ahmet Gökalp Karakan kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. João Augusto de Amaral scored 1-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karhan Okyanus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 30 minutes into the match, João Augusto de Amaral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karhan Okyanus. Birvan Spor Kulübü's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Augusto de Amaral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Karhan Okyanus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Rodrigues in the 34th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Ulisses Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. XV de Piracicaba's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulisses Fontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karhan Okyanus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karhan Okyanus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráusio Prestes in the 39th minute of the match. Karhan Okyanus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antônio Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Birvan Spor Kulübü's goal looked a bit too open when Haruna Hassan came free, but Karhan Okyanus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Haruna Hassan to make the kick off. Birvan Spor Kulübü's Karhan Okyanus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Augusto de Amaral in the 51st minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Birvan Spor Kulübü's goal looked a bit too open when João Augusto de Amaral came free, but Karhan Okyanus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute of the match Anísio Netto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karhan Okyanus skillfully saved the ball. In the 75th minute, XV de Piracicaba's Amílton Coelho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Karhan Okyanus was a little too slow when João Augusto de Amaral got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 1-5. After 81 minutes, Amílton Coelho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the XV de Piracicaba and the Birvan Spor Kulübü players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amílton Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Birvan Spor Kulübü's Karhan Okyanus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Augusto de Amaral in the 83rd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Karhan Okyanus successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Anísio Netto struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Karhan Okyanus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for XV de Piracicaba. 87 minutes into the match, Birvan Spor Kulübü's goalkeeper Karhan Okyanus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antônio Rodrigues. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulisses Fontes got free with Karhan Okyanus in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Samuel Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şentürk Hürsev in the 89th minute of the match. Anísio Netto came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Karhan Okyanus could save by the left post. In the 93rd minute, João Augusto de Amaral reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Karhan Okyanus. The goal made the score 1-6.
