The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the game, Mebarek Boniche cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Josué Fernandez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 9th minute, Emanuel Baiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hocine Zitouni was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, Until Five's Waldir Rosado got a free kick in the 12th minute. A collision led to Wara getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Dida Bouchemla hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mebarek Boniche in the 16th minute of play forced Until Five's goalkeeper Josué Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Betinho Furlan charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Betinho Furlan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Wara booed when Until Five was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Betinho Furlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiago de Sousa hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Until Five's goalkeeper Josué Fernandez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chadli Lacarne. A collision led to Until Five getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Waldir Rosado hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jerônimo Paraibano during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 35 played minutes Until Five got a freekick which was hit by Jerônimo Paraibano. The crowd rose to their feet as Wara's Chadli Lacarne slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Josué Fernandez. That made the score 2-1 after 36 minutes of play. After having played for 46 minutes, Emanuel Baiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Until Five's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Baiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuel Baiano was the one to do the kick off. Josué Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mebarek Boniche in the 60th minute of play. Wara's Hocine Zitouni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Wara from getting a goal against them. Mebarek Boniche took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Josué Fernandez. Josué Fernandez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Madjid Mansouri hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Emanuel Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jeferson Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Until Five getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Jerônimo Paraibano hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Until Five's zone, Mebarek Boniche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josué Fernandez came out of the goal and Mebarek Boniche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 82 minutes, Waldir Rosado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Until Five and the Wara players grew even worse after the yellow card. Waldir Rosado kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute Mebarek Boniche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josué Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Madjid Mansouri during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 89 minutes into the game, Emanuel Baiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Until Five's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wara the free kick. After 89 played minutes Until Five got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Baiano. If Emanuel Baiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Until Five's Betinho Furlan got a free kick in the 94th minute. Wara's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
