The supporters of istanbulls booed when El Millo de Haedo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Salamon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonio Carrizo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haydar Özdinç, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Işık Şerhenk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Antonio Carrizo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in El Millo de Haedo's zone, Haydar Özdinç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Carrizo came out of the goal and Haydar Özdinç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ramiro Urbez charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramiro Urbez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, El Millo de Haedo's Ramiro Urbez got a free kick in the 24th minute. Arif Cengiz Oykan charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 26 played minutes El Millo de Haedo got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Uhin. Ceyhun Koyas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Carrizo having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Higinio Uhin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hüsrev Can saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ignacio Montrell kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hüsrev Can. That made the score 2-0 in the 38 minute of play. Hüsrev Can took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Montrell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hüsrev Can made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Uhin in the 44th minute of play.

The wind increased when Haydar Özdinç made the kick off in the second half. istanbulls's Hüsrev Can played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Rico in the 51st minute of play. After 53 minutes of play, istanbulls's Haydar Özdinç made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antonio Carrizo was left in no man's land by his defense there! El Millo de Haedo's Ramiro Urbez got his second yellow card of the match in the 56th minute. The referee ordered Ramiro Urbez off the ground. In the 57th minute, Ramiro Urbez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. El Millo de Haedo's Antonio Carrizo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save El Millo de Haedo from getting a goal against them. In the 61st minute of the match, Battal Cüneyt Zahir tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Antonio Carrizo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. İsmail Hakkı Mahşer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Antonio Carrizo made a huge save. After 69 played minutes El Millo de Haedo got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Montrell. In the 70th minute, Sebastian Salamon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haydar Özdinç's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Antonio Carrizo firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 75th minute, Amancio Pirmin made a precise shot to the right of Hüsrev Can. istanbulls's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. If Amancio Pirmin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saruhan Eker kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. When Generoso Raulo fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Millo de Haedo's protests and gave Generoso Raulo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, El Millo de Haedo's Generoso Raulo got a free kick in the 85th minute. Antonio Carrizo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Göktuğ Arıtan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the match, El Millo de Haedo's goal looked a bit too open when Battal Cüneyt Zahir came free, but Antonio Carrizo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The El Millo de Haedo support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
