An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig Lööf in the 7th minute of play forced CA Boca Jrs's goalkeeper Diego Tamburrini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Tamburrini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Lööf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 played minutes, CA Boca Jrs's Armando Garibaldi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eddie Bergström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CA Boca Jrs reached it. 18 minutes into the game, Hawk Tuah FC's Evert Mikaelsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diego Tamburrini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 23rd minute Federico Monaco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Bergström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Hawk Tuah FC's Evert Mikaelsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Diego Tamburrini. Diego Tamburrini yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. If Ercole Ceresoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Federico Monaco struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Eddie Bergström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA Boca Jrs. Stig Lööf scored 3-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diego Tamburrini, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. From close distance Esbjörn Isaksson pressed in the 4-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 36 minutes into the game. Dennis Tozzi charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dennis Tozzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 45 minutes into the match, Sture By dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Diego Tamburrini, 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 53rd minute, Göran Eskilsson made a precise shot to the right of Diego Tamburrini. CA Boca Jrs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. 57 minutes into the match, Hawk Tuah FC's goalkeeper Eddie Bergström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Federico Monaco. After a rather tough play, Hawk Tuah FC's Leif Västlund got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 65th minute, Alfonso Pedrelli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eddie Bergström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Monaco, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Eddie Gernberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hawk Tuah FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CA Boca Jrs the free kick. In the 71st match minute, Hawk Tuah FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eddie Gernberg to maneuver through the defense. Diego Tamburrini came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Hawk Tuah FC's Sture By. But to his dismay, Sture By quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. After a rather tough play, Hawk Tuah FC's Ingvar Kleen got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 80th minute of the match Corrado Cicchetti shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eddie Bergström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. CA Boca Jrs's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Corrado Cicchetti in the 81st minute. Diego Tamburrini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evert Mikaelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Evert Mikaelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 90th minute, Sture By left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hawk Tuah FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. 93 minutes into the match, CA Boca Jrs's goal looked a bit too open when Sture By came free, but Diego Tamburrini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Tamburrini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sture By, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Ercole Ceresoli struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Eddie Bergström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA Boca Jrs. When the referee ended the match the Hawk Tuah FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
