Nelsinho Marinho started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute Palestra do Interior were awarded a corner. Nelsinho Marinho went to the cornerflag to take it. After 12 played minutes Umbekannt87 got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Isaio. 12 minutes into the match, Palestra do Interior's Nelsinho Marinho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Cidro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Palestra do Interior's Nelsinho Marinho in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 22nd minute, Nelsinho Marinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavio Cidro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Mattin, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 35 minutes into the game, Nelsinho Marinho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Flavio Cidro. Nelsinho Marinho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. After having played for 38 minutes, David Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palestra do Interior's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Vale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Flavio Cidro made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Nelsinho Marinho sent off a good shot on target. Christiano Palmeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavio Cidro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nelsinho Marinho in the 45th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carmelo Cresconio was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Palestra do Interior getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Peder Neira hit a great ball. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carmelo Cresconio in the 53rd minute. Umbekannt87's Flavio Cidro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelsinho Marinho in the 56th minute of play. In the 59thth minute of the game Nelsinho Marinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Umbekannt87's Flavio Cidro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ronaldo Pirani charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronaldo Pirani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Palestra do Interior getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ronaldo Pirani hit a great ball. Palestra do Interior made a substitution. Ulysses Neto replaced Doni Pimenta. Palestra do Interior's Dinei Brito was substituted for Ronaldo Pirani. Ronaldo Pirani kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Umbekannt87's Flavio Cidro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelsinho Marinho in the 66th minute of play. Luisão de Medeiros hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Flavio Cidro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nelsinho Marinho's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. 76 minutes into the match, Umbekannt87's goal looked a bit too open when Pau Lin-Carlos came free, but Flavio Cidro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Palestra do Interior's Delfim Quintal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Flavio Cidro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Flavio Cidro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nelsinho Marinho's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. After 95 minutes, Nelsinho Marinho made it 6-1 with a short kick to the right side. Umbekannt87's Flavio Cidro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Palestra do Interior's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
