An unexpectedly hard shot by Maadan Kempes in the 11th minute of play forced Fecha Libre's goalkeeper Leandro Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Edgard Sadurni made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Silveira. Suprs Academia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When Bernardo Calçada fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Suprs Academia's protests and gave Bernardo Calçada a yellow card for diving instead. Bernardo Calçada kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Cirilo Paublo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Suprs Academia's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Rami came free, but Manuel Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Suprs Academia's zone, Gerardo Rami stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Silveira came out of the goal and Gerardo Rami tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manuel Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Zenón in the 25th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerardo Rami in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Silveira saved Suprs Academia from getting behind. When Kevin Zenón came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Fecha Libre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kevin Zenón couldn't finish the play. 32 minutes into the match, Gerardo Rami had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manuel Silveira. Suprs Academia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerardo Rami was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Manuel Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Rami, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Arthur Zico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Silveira made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Cirilo Paublo sent off a good shot on target.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cirilo Paublo to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Suprs Academia getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Delfim Neves hit a great ball. Fecha Libre's Leandro Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Guerreiro in the 56th minute of play. Manuel Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Paublo in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Fecha Libre's Cirilo Paublo got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Suprs Academia's goalkeeper Manuel Silveira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Suprs Academia's Manuel Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Zenón in the 77th minute of play. Manuel Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Rami, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Manuel Silveira came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Fecha Libre's Gerardo Rami. But to his dismay, Gerardo Rami quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Fecha Libre were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Suprs Academia for a fine match.
