The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, Zeledon Louis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute, Edmund Fredriksson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kronan's Daniel Allbom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Kronan from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Kronan getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Nils-Emil Dalkvist hit a great ball. Ove Dahlgren charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ove Dahlgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 22 played minutes Kronan got a freekick which was hit by Ove Dahlgren. Ove Dahlgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Kronan getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Joar Wennerqvist hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Inocencio Palban left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 44th minute, Kronan's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Inocencio Palban fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 44 minutes into the game, Inocencio Palban cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Daniel Allbom was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joar Wennerqvist to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Gabriel Mercado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kronan the free kick. After a rather tough play, C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Gabriel Mercado got a free kick in the 56th minute. A collision led to C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Gabriel Mercado hit a great ball. In the 61st match minute, Kronan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjell Eklund to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Oliverio in the 62nd minute of play forced Kronan's goalkeeper Daniel Allbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo booed when Kronan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mats Tidéksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Anier Vigil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joar Wennerqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Prospero Curcio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rdth minute of the game Inocencio Palban who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kronan's Daniel Allbom was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kronan's Daniel Allbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Viator in the 75th minute of play. Daniel Allbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Oliverio in the 76th minute of play. Zeledon Louis hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Daniel Allbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Palban in the 85th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Inocencio Palban's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Allbom was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. If Joar Wennerqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Allbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Oliverio in the 90th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kronan's Erland Vestberg got a free kick in the 91st minute. Daniel Allbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Palban in the 95th minute of play.
