In the 4th minute, Teofilo Tono made a precise shot to the right of Miguel Salguero. Made in Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 9 minutes of play, Roma FC's Fulgencio Palos made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miguel Salguero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Miguel Salguero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teofilo Tono went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After 15 played minutes Made in Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Hernández. After a defensive mix-up in Made in Honduras's zone, Teofilo Tono stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Salguero came out of the goal and Teofilo Tono tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fulgencio Palos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredo Crescencio scored 0-5 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miguel Salguero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Bartolo Senon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 34 minutes into the match, Virgilio Tulio notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Made in Honduras's Miguel Salguero. Miguel Salguero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Vachon in the 38th minute of play forced Made in Honduras's goalkeeper Miguel Salguero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 0-7 became the score in the 39th minute when Teofilo Tono elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some careless play in the Made in Honduras defense, Fulgencio Palos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel Salguero. The Made in Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Salguero should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teofilo Tono in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Salguero saved Made in Honduras from getting behind. Miguel Salguero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Palos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fidel Hernández to strike the kick off in the second half. Miguel Salguero came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Roma FC's Fulgencio Palos. But to his dismay, Fulgencio Palos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. 56 minutes into the match, Domingo Taurino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Miguel Salguero, 0-10. Fulgencio Palos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Miguel Salguero when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Berke Khan in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bartolo Senon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Valenzuela in the 63rd minute of play forced Roma FC's goalkeeper Bartolo Senon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Crescencio in the 64th minute of play forced Made in Honduras's goalkeeper Miguel Salguero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredo Crescencio got free with Miguel Salguero in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute, Virgilio Tulio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Miguel Salguero. The goal made the score 0-11. Teofilo Tono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Salguero having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Alfredo Crescencio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Miguel Salguero. The goal made the score 0-12. The crowd rose to their feet as Flavio Illart kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Miguel Salguero. That made the score 0-13 in the 75 minute of play. In the 82nd minute Alfredo Crescencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Salguero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Made in Honduras booed when Roma FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Tulio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bartolo Senon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Hernández in the 85th minute of play. In the 88th minute Vicente Firmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Salguero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fulgencio Palos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the game, Flavio Illart recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Miguel Salguero. Flavio Illart showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-14.
