The referee ignored VERDOLAGA CITY FC's protests and gave Guib Bravo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th match minute, VERDOLAGA CITY FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guib Bravo to maneuver through the defense. Nazario Forcat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claude van Bedts in the 18th minute of play. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Claude van Bedts sped through VERDOLAGA CITY FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nazario Forcat. The supporters of VERDOLAGA CITY FC booed when Het Koffiehuis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robbie Wagemans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nazario Forcat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claude van Bedts's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute.

If Claude van Bedts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thibau Ackermans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rocio Camerin in the 63rd minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, VERDOLAGA CITY FC's goal looked a bit too open when Brecht Van Gestelt came free, but Nazario Forcat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claude van Bedts was extremely unlucky when he, in the 68th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.
