Lluis Pavieta's late challenge caught a Valencia C.F.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lluis Pavieta helped the player get up and apologised. Lluis Pavieta kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Darryl Hepburn got free with Christian Frontera in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Elia Minguez came free, but Wesley Kerr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Valencia C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego López to maneuver through the defense. Javiar Jordan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wesley Kerr. Valencia C.F.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Lluis Pavieta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wesley Kerr was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 20th match minute, Valencia C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miles Lancaster to maneuver through the defense. Javiar Jordan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elia Minguez scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wesley Kerr, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lluis Pavieta kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Lluis Pavieta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wesley Kerr was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Wesley Kerr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elia Minguez in the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Lluis Pavieta came free, but Wesley Kerr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Marcelo Deco came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Deportivo ScrugenFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Deco couldn't finish the play. After the first half Deportivo ScrugenFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Valencia C.F.'s Wesley Kerr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lluis Pavieta in the 54th minute of play. Wesley Kerr made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Elia Minguez sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th minute, Lluis Pavieta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo ScrugenFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After 64 minutes, Lee Kennedy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valencia C.F. and the Deportivo ScrugenFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Valencia C.F. getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Lee Kennedy hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Darryl Hepburn during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 66 played minutes Valencia C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Darryl Hepburn. After 67 minutes of play, Deportivo ScrugenFC's Marcelo Deco made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wesley Kerr was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Valencia C.F.'s Wesley Kerr got control of the ball when Lluis Pavieta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christian Frontera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lee Kennedy, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Wesley Kerr was a little too slow when Marcelo Deco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 0-5. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Marcelo Deco took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Wesley Kerr to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Deco in the 94th minute of play forced Valencia C.F.'s goalkeeper Wesley Kerr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deportivo ScrugenFC played a much better game than Valencia C.F. and deserved their victory. The Valencia C.F. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
