Mateo Pietro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 11 minutes into the game, Ovidio Haimar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rosario Central's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Crottos Crotters F.C. the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of Rosario Central:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Crottos Crotters F.C.:s goal. In the 12th minute there was a penalty for Crottos Crotters F.C.. Walter Clausen stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mateo Pietro. 0-3. Mateo Pietro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Ramone in the 19th minute of play. Daniel Bertoni took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mateo Pietro. Mateo Pietro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isaias Chumo during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rosario Central's Isaias Chumo got a free kick in the 24th minute. When Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Daniel Bertoni in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rosario Central's goalie prevented a goal. 26 minutes into the match, Cesar Telo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mateo Pietro. Rosario Central's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cesar Telo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Mateo Pietro came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Daniel Bertoni. But to his dismay, Daniel Bertoni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. 39 minutes into the match, Crottos Crotters F.C.'s goalkeeper Eustaquio Haitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Gilesindo. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Felipe Gilesindo scored to the left of an out of position Eustaquio Haitz, making the score, 1-6. 42 minutes into the game, Albano Ramone cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Mateo Pietro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 46th minute, Daniel Bertoni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mateo Pietro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Bertoni stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cesar Telo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Mateo Pietro made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Bertoni in the 59th minute of play forced Rosario Central's goalkeeper Mateo Pietro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute Cesar Telo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Pietro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Bertoni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Mateo Pietro made a huge save. Mateo Pietro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Bertoni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the game, Albano Ramone cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-11. Mateo Pietro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Amado Galo was substituted for Valentin Tauro. Mateo Pietro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Erramu in the 75th minute of the match. Rosario Central's Mateo Pietro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Rosario Central from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Bertoni in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mateo Pietro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Rosario Central's Mateo Pietro got control of the ball when Leonardo Astrada tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rosario Central's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Leonardo Astrada scored to the left of an out of position Mateo Pietro, making the score, 1-13. Santos Harri did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-14 to the left of a surprised Mateo Pietro 96 minutes into the match. Crottos Crotters F.C. played a much better game than Rosario Central and deserved their victory. The Rosario Central players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
