Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell William Nunes to make the kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Sacode Football CIMZ's goalkeeper Alan de Medeiros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alan de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gino do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Tony Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After 59 played minutes, SRP-Laguna's Donato Arantes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alan de Medeiros came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Tony Veiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the SRP-Laguna defense, Aníbal Garcia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nuno Azevedo. The SRP-Laguna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nuno Azevedo should have stopped the shot. Anísio Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Club Sacode Football CIMZ's Tony Veiga couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SRP-Laguna. Benedito Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Azevedo having to interfere.
