Brazil Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgílio Dantas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Hélder de Medeiros fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brazil Academy's protests and gave Hélder de Medeiros a yellow card for diving instead. Armando Meira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogumil Madajczyk having to interfere. Virgílio Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Bogumil Madajczyk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bękarty Wojny's goalkeeper Bogumil Madajczyk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Brazil Academy's Virgílio Dantas got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fiori Ferraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogumil Madajczyk having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Brazil Academy's Percival Linares got a free kick in the 45th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgílio Dantas in the 54th minute of play forced Bękarty Wojny's goalkeeper Bogumil Madajczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Bękarty Wojny getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Janusz Wachna hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, Virgílio Dantas notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Bękarty Wojny's Bogumil Madajczyk. Bogumil Madajczyk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 66th minute, Ludomil Balkiewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kazimierz Ligas got free with Nicolas Vidal in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tadeusz Mazierski's late challenge caught a Brazil Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tadeusz Mazierski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th minute, Tadeusz Mazierski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bogumil Madajczyk came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Brazil Academy's Armando Meira. But to his dismay, Armando Meira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Bogumil Madajczyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Meira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Armando Meira came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Brazil Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Meira couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute, Virgílio Dantas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brazil Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Thomás Massa hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Bękarty Wojny's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
