The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Olov Rosendal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Bertol in the 8th minute of the match. Ted Högman hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. C. A. Atlanta's Silvano Dominguez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Atlanta from getting a goal against them. Ted Högman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvano Dominguez having to make a save. Silvano Dominguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Högman in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Silvano Dominguez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ted Högman. The throw-in from Leonardo Elg in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C. A. Atlanta's Dionisio Gartzea. After a rather tough play, FC Hackspett U21's Jakob Bergqvist got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute, Jakob Bergqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the game, Aurelio Luken cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Olov Rosendal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Karl-Ove Petersson got a throw-in 35 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Henric Rosen. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ted Högman got free with Silvano Dominguez in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelio Luken during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Hackspett U21 booed when C. A. Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Luken didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Tor Källberg put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Silvano Dominguez. The supporters of FC Hackspett U21 booed when C. A. Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Cordarrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 48 minutes, Ted Högman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Hackspett U21's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ted Högman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelo Bertol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Henric Rosen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute Aurelio Luken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Rosendal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurelio Luken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, Leonardo Elg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 63 played minutes Aurelio Luken rounded FC Hackspett U21's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. In the 67th minute, Esbjörn Lange hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in FC Hackspett U21's zone, Valentin Cefero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olov Rosendal came out of the goal and Valentin Cefero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvano Dominguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Högman in the 74th minute of play. After 74 played minutes C. A. Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Oliverio. After 75 played minutes, FC Hackspett U21's Jakob Bergqvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Silvano Dominguez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Hackspett U21 reached it. After a rather tough play, C. A. Atlanta's Aurelio Luken got a free kick in the 76th minute. Silvano Dominguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Högman in the 77th minute of play. In the 82nd match minute, FC Hackspett U21 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tor Källberg to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, FC Hackspett U21's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Luken came free, but Olov Rosendal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
