Jurjen van der Gun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Jax, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Ulises Harkaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Popken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, Roger Popken notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Los Espinillos FC's Ulises Harkaitz. In the 48th minute of the match, Damian Jax tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jurjen van der Gun saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rene Tadzio made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Seagulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Busch to maneuver through the defense. Los Espinillos FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
