After a rather tough play, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Karol Zdanowicz got a free kick in the 25th minute. With 31 minutes on the clock, Karol Serwacki commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Kristian Hellkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kacper Gondek in the 36th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kacper Gondek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Ulf Melin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Mateusz Trzenzalski took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Kristian Hellkvist to make any attempt to save it. In the 68th minute, Damian Borkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Nusnäs IF's zone, Jorge Vicente Kutaisov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristian Hellkvist came out of the goal and Jorge Vicente Kutaisov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mateusz Trzenzalski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 78 minutes into the game, Nusnäs IF's Johan Gustavsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Krzysztof Nowakowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 83 minutes into the match, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Löfgren came free, but Krzysztof Nowakowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf Melin in the 84th minute of play forced Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goalkeeper Krzysztof Nowakowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
