Davi Tasso charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Davi Tasso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 7 minutes into the game, one of Bergamim F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vilhelm Mjølner in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vicente Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 16 minutes of play, The Northmen Army's Pål Wiklund made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vicente Azevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vilhelm Mjølner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vicente Azevedo having to make a save. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Vilhelm Mjølner sped through Bergamim F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vicente Azevedo. In the 30th minute Stig Lindqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Northmen Army's Emil Hafström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juvenal de Moraes in the 32nd minute of play. Vicente Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilhelm Mjølner in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bergamim F.C.'s Cássio Neiva got a free kick in the 40th minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Magnus Säfström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Northmen Army's supporters crossed their fingers, but Magnus Säfström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Bergamim F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. The Northmen Army were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vilhelm Mjølner made a kick off. Vicente Azevedo was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Vilhelm Mjølner capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vilhelm Mjølner really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Bergamim F.C.'s Vicente Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilhelm Mjølner in the 55th minute of play. Vicente Azevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vilhelm Mjølner in the 57th minute. If Vilgot Dahlman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. After 60 minutes of play, The Northmen Army's Magnus Säfström made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 82nd minute, Marcus Mjølner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pål Wiklund received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vicente Azevedo came out and tried to block the shot, but Pål Wiklund slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 87th minute. Göran Falck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Northmen Army played a much better game than Bergamim F.C. and deserved their victory. The Bergamim F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
