The referee showed Celsinho Couto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to HollywooDogs getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Celsinho Couto hit a great ball. HollywooDogs's Vânderson Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Wills in the 17th minute of play. When Ricardo Bittencourt fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HollywooDogs's protests and gave Ricardo Bittencourt a yellow card for diving instead. Vânderson Nogueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vic Burrows in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute Leicester Lions were awarded a corner. Vic Burrows went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of HollywooDogs's goalie and right to Ronan Walls. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. HollywooDogs's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Mete Gøl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Simon Slater made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Wills in the 33rd minute of play forced HollywooDogs's goalkeeper Vânderson Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simon Slater was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mac Fly showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 34 minute of play. Nicky Gregory hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Simon Slater took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mac Fly, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 52ndth minute of the game Mac Fly who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leicester Lions's Simon Slater was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Samuca Donatello during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 60 played minutes HollywooDogs got a freekick which was hit by Samuca Donatello. HollywooDogs's Wellington Berger was substituted for Ulisses Leal. HollywooDogs's Ademar Santana was substituted for César Loureiro. In the 61st match minute, HollywooDogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuca Donatello to maneuver through the defense. After 65 minutes, Wellington Berger made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Leicester Lions's Simon Slater tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Simon Slater didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mete Gøl went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. If Warren Hardcastle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Leicester Lions's Vic Burrows got a free kick in the 81st minute. When Sidnei Xavier came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the HollywooDogs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sidnei Xavier couldn't finish the play. 83 minutes into the match, Mac Fly had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simon Slater. Leicester Lions's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mac Fly was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Leicester Lions's Simon Slater played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademar Santana in the 88th minute of play. Duncan Lawless's late challenge caught a HollywooDogs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Duncan Lawless helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st minute, Duncan Lawless hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simon Slater made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wellington Berger in the 94th minute of play. Leicester Lions's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
