Ahmet Arif Atay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ştefan Măgureanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 22nd minute, Steaua Bucuresti's Andrei Macarie ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ahmet Arif Atay. Ahmet Arif Atay yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After a rather tough play, Steaua Bucuresti's Flavius Nisipeanu got a free kick in the 26th minute. Gencer Özal, 27 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 29 minutes into the match, ☆Atar Yemez Spor Kulübü☆'s goalkeeper Ahmet Arif Atay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrei Macarie. With a little luck, ☆Atar Yemez Spor Kulübü☆'s Ahmet Arif Atay got control of the ball when Ştefan Măgureanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sadri Sebih was the one to do the kick off. Ahmet Arif Atay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrei Macarie in the 55th minute of play. ☆Atar Yemez Spor Kulübü☆ were furious when Atalan Onural was red carded, 58 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests.
