The audience thought a goal was coming when Iordache Bognar got free with Paulo Romelio in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 13 minutes, Iordache Bognar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cavalerii Viola and the La Gallardeta players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of La Gallardeta booed when Cavalerii Viola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iordache Bognar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Madeo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Martin Argăseală tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee ignored La Gallardeta's protests and gave Marcos Madeo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th minute, Marcos Madeo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felipe Flores made a kick off. Remus Vrejiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Romelio having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, La Gallardeta's Marcos Madeo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Argăseală made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ruben Dolfo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Paul Bărbat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Felipe Flores kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Martin Argăseală. That made the score 1-2 in the 75 minute of play. After 90 played minutes Cavalerii Viola got a freekick which was hit by Paul Bărbat. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. La Gallardeta had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
