Spectators: 1718 (Terracing: 1289, Seating: 395, VIP seats: 34) When Justo Sagrario came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Águilas Poblanas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justo Sagrario couldn't finish the play. Águilas Poblanas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roberto Mateus in the 14th minute. The corner led Águilas Poblanas's Roberto Mateus to fire away a dangerous shot which Vladimiro Barroso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Palhares in the 15th minute of play forced Águilas Poblanas's goalkeeper Matias Eder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Fernando Portela came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the AD Pontassolense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Portela couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute Carmelo Bilintx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Barroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matias Eder came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by AD Pontassolense's Vítor Patrício. But to his dismay, Vítor Patrício quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Justo Sagrario received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vladimiro Barroso came out and tried to block the shot, but Justo Sagrario slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 36th minute. Vladimiro Barroso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Firman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronaldo Barbosa hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute of the match Roberto Mateus shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vladimiro Barroso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Afonso Castanheira charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Afonso Castanheira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute, Afonso Castanheira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute, AD Pontassolense's Gustavo Aguiar seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gustavo Aguiar the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of AD Pontassolense protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gustavo Aguiar had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, AD Pontassolense's Gustavo Aguiar got a free kick in the 49th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 50th minute, Elpidio Chayo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Águilas Poblanas's supporters rose to their feet, but Elpidio Chayo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vladimiro Barroso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vítor Patrício stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 56 in the game by Vítor Patrício from a close distance when the talented Matias Eder managed to make a qualified save. Águilas Poblanas's players were relieved. If Rodrigo Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Amado kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Bilintx in the 67th minute of play forced AD Pontassolense's goalkeeper Vladimiro Barroso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladimiro Barroso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Chabier in the 79th minute of the match. Vladimiro Barroso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tiburcio Firman went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Águilas Poblanas had played much better football throughout.
