In the 6th minute, Cássio Motta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Jörn Rang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonel Paraíba was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Waldir Branco might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jimmie Blomquist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Waldir Branco ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 15thth minute of the game Cássio Motta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hisingstads BK's Jimmie Blomquist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Misericordia EC's Waldir Branco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jimmie Blomquist. That made the score 1-0 after 23 minutes of play. Hisingstads BK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Alex Gaúcho scored to the left of an out of position Jimmie Blomquist, making the score, 2-0. 29 minutes into the game, Cássio Motta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jimmie Blomquist. Cássio Motta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Leonel Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Nordström in the 33rd minute of play. If Jörn Rang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Waldir Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Jimmie Blomquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jimmie Blomquist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alex Gaúcho went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Hisingstads BK defense, Cássio Motta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jimmie Blomquist. The Hisingstads BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jimmie Blomquist should have stopped the shot. If Alex Gaúcho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jimmie Blomquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Motta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonel Paraíba was a little too slow when Jörn Rang got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 6-1. 72 minutes into the game, Misericordia EC's Cássio Motta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jimmie Blomquist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. Hisingstads BK's Jimmie Blomquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Gaúcho in the 76th minute of play. Jimmie Blomquist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cássio Motta went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. Hisingstads BK's Jimmie Blomquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Motta in the 87th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Cássio Motta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jimmie Blomquist was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-1. 94 minutes into the match, Hisingstads BK's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Gaúcho came free, but Jimmie Blomquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
