Through an outstanding action, after 7 minutes, German Burgos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 10 minutes into the game, Váldson Mendes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of German Burgos. Váldson Mendes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ambrosio Medardo during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in River Plate fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 15 minutes, 【¡Hālā Μāđяιđ CF!】's Nildo de Queiroz got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of German Burgos. With a little luck, River Plate's German Burgos got control of the ball when Tales Coutinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. German Burgos made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Tales Coutinho sent off a good shot on target. If Prospero Paez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. German Burgos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tales Coutinho in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Váldson Mendes in the 34th minute of play forced River Plate's goalkeeper German Burgos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When 【¡Hālā Μāđяιđ CF!】's Tales Coutinho in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. German Burgos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tales Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

River Plate's German Burgos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tales Coutinho in the 52nd minute of play. German Burgos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tales Coutinho in the 53rd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Tales Coutinho sped through River Plate's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of German Burgos. German Burgos came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by 【¡Hālā Μāđяιđ CF!】's Rafa Ramos. But to his dismay, Rafa Ramos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Filomeno Arotza who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Cacá Ribeiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, 【¡Hālā Μāđяιđ CF!】's Raí Romero got a free kick in the 66th minute. 【¡Hālā Μāđяιđ CF!】 made a substitution. André Luiz Godoi replaced Raí Romero. A collision led to 【¡Hālā Μāđяιđ CF!】 getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Raí Romero hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind River Plate's goalkeeper German Burgos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Juninho Machado made a precise shot to the right of German Burgos. River Plate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 80th minute, Tales Coutinho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 【¡Hālā Μāđяιđ CF!】 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. When Artemio Dominguez fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored River Plate's protests and gave Artemio Dominguez a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to River Plate getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Artemio Dominguez hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Tales Coutinho came free, but German Burgos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Tales Coutinho notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of River Plate's German Burgos. German Burgos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. German Burgos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juninho Machado in the 95th minute of play.
