After 19 played minutes Desfachatados F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Piarres. Leones FC's Matias Montes got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Eduardo Xabel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonardo Poz during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Desfachatados F.C. booed when Leones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Poz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goalkeeper Amador Jakue had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eleuterio Ulizes. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benjamin Cambranes was the one to do the kick off. Leones FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Desfachatados F.C. the free kick. After 66 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Dante Mannie. Desfachatados F.C. made a substitution. Javier Piearres replaced Melquiades Ritchie. After 67 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Dante Mannie. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaspar Sabin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Esteve Pello. That made the score 0-1 in the 76 minute of play. Dario Gaizko's late challenge caught a Desfachatados F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dario Gaizko helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th match minute, Leones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Gaizko to maneuver through the defense.
