An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlinhos Branco in the 9th minute of play forced PROTON F.C.'s goalkeeper Eufemio Sazie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th match minute, PROTON F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferrán Quijada to maneuver through the defense. If Gabino Pechini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 16 minutes, Simón Domeyco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PROTON F.C. and the Intendencia AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th match minute, PROTON F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simón Domeyco to maneuver through the defense. PROTON F.C.'s Eufemio Sazie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlinhos Branco in the 19th minute of play. In the 30th minute Carlinhos Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eufemio Sazie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlinhos Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Eufemio Sazie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute Carlinhos Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eufemio Sazie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias do Nascimento hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, Intendencia AD's goal looked a bit too open when Simón Domeyco came free, but Cléber Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 49 minutes into the game, Marcinho Schmidt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Intendencia AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PROTON F.C. the free kick. Marcinho Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match. The PROTON F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Intendencia AD were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Simón Domeyco made a kick off. PROTON F.C.'s Eufemio Sazie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save PROTON F.C. from getting a goal against them. 55 minutes into the match, Carlinhos Branco notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of PROTON F.C.'s Eufemio Sazie. Eufemio Sazie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carlinhos Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Eufemio Sazie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 minutes of play, Intendencia AD's Carlinhos Branco made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eufemio Sazie was left in no man's land by his defense there! Intendencia AD made a substitution. Hernani de Alcântara replaced Alfredinho Pimenta. PROTON F.C.'s Eufemio Sazie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernani de Alcântara in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Gabino Pechini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eufemio Sazie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlinhos Branco in the 73rd minute of play. A hard shot 75 in the game by Carlinhos Branco from a close distance when the talented Eufemio Sazie managed to make a qualified save. PROTON F.C.'s players were relieved. 77 minutes into the match, PROTON F.C.'s goalkeeper Eufemio Sazie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlinhos Branco. Eufemio Sazie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlinhos Branco in the 79th minute of the match. Juan Lobillo kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Carlinhos Branco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eufemio Sazie. That made the score 0-5 in the 84 minute of play. In the 91st minute, Carlinhos Branco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eufemio Sazie was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. In a very dangerous position, a player in Intendencia AD fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! The referee gave PROTON F.C. a penalty, 98 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Juan Lobillo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Intendencia AD's Cléber Vargas. 1-6. Intendencia AD's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
