Angelino Galindo started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Leon Platense's goalkeeper Cecilio Garci had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matias Urtzi. Leon Guilabertus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Lucio Lastur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Eustaquio Pancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelino Galindo in the 16th minute of play forced Lunatico F.C's goalkeeper Lucio Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julio Geleberto during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lucio Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelino Galindo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Julio Fagildo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee showed Saul Beltza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 35 minutes into the match, Leon Platense's goalkeeper Cecilio Garci had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matias Urtzi. Serafin Cayo hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Lucio Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Guilabertus in the 42nd minute of play. Pedro Ganix scored 2-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cecilio Garci, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Ganix to make the kick off. A collision led to Lunatico F.C getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Jaime Muc hit a great ball. Lucio Lastur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Galindo in the 53rd minute of the match. Eustaquio Pancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Cecilio Garci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leon Platense's Cecilio Garci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Urtzi in the 60th minute of play. Matias Urtzi's late challenge caught a Leon Platense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matias Urtzi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd match minute, Lunatico F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Urtzi to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Angelino Galindo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lucio Lastur, passed just outside the right post. When Jaime Muc fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lunatico F.C's protests and gave Jaime Muc a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Lunatico F.C getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Jaime Muc hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, Pedro Ganix left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lunatico F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Cecilio Garci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Urtzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. A collision led to Leon Platense getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Leon Guilabertus hit a great ball. Narciso Martxel hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Ganix in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cecilio Garci saved Leon Platense from getting behind. There was no doubt that Lunatico F.C were the better team. Lunatico F.C's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
