Godofredo Lando struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Georg Fernström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olivos Futbol Club. In the 16th minute, John Svensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fulgencio Remigio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Georg Fernström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 28 played minutes Olivos Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Guipuzkoa. In the 31st match minute, Avantgarde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Åke Paulin to maneuver through the defense. Godofredo Lando's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Georg Fernström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Georg Fernström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Remigio in the 40th minute of play. Linus Alberg hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. If Godofredo Lando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Godofredo Lando was the one to do the kick off. 71 minutes into the match, Avantgarde's goalkeeper Georg Fernström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tadeo Raymond. After some careless play in the Avantgarde defense, Tadeo Raymond kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Georg Fernström. The Avantgarde fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Georg Fernström should have stopped the shot. 77 minutes into the match, Avantgarde's goalkeeper Georg Fernström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fulgencio Guipuzkoa. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Alex Österlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Avantgarde's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Österlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tadeo Asur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 84 minutes into the game, Joel Calvet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Georg Fernström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tadeo Asur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ola Höijer, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. When the final whistle sounded Olivos Futbol Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Avantgarde.
