In the 3rd minute, Kabul Sonjaya ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Khalil Hatim was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With 10 minutes on the clock, Jabbar Jabalah commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Odoy Arisandy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Khalil Hatim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eko Sulistio, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute Kabul Sonjaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalil Hatim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Eko Sulistio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Khalil Hatim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Khalil Hatim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eko Sulistio went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Khaled Sultan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atletico Beirut's Khalil Hatim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kabul Sonjaya in the 33rd minute of play. When Khaled Sultan fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico Beirut's protests and gave Khaled Sultan a yellow card for diving instead. Samir Faraj hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Odoy Arisandy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Eko Sulistio made the kick off in the second half. Eko Sulistio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Khalil Hatim came out and tried to block the shot, but Eko Sulistio slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute Nacho Comacho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalil Hatim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atletico Beirut's Khalil Hatim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nacho Comacho in the 58th minute of play. Lukita Suharyadi kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 61 played minutes Atletico Beirut got a freekick which was hit by Safa Awwab. In the 63rd minute Nacho Comacho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalil Hatim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Eko Sulistio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Khalis Kusumah hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the game, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Eko Sulistio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Khalil Hatim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. The crowd rose to their feet as AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Eko Sulistio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Khalil Hatim. That made the score 0-8 after 82 minutes of play. In the 84th match minute, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Khalis Kusumah to maneuver through the defense. Yatna Tomagola came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Beirut's Safa Awwab. But to his dismay, Safa Awwab quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-8. When Katon Sentosa fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's protests and gave Katon Sentosa a yellow card for diving instead. Katon Sentosa hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eko Sulistio got free with Khalil Hatim in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Atletico Beirut defense, Eko Sulistio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Khalil Hatim. The Atletico Beirut fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Khalil Hatim should have stopped the shot. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC played a much better game than Atletico Beirut and deserved their victory. The Atletico Beirut players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
