Esquirla FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kris Van Meerbeek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 14 minutes into the game, Labbeville's Yann Porquet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dimitri Huijbreghts made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Mickaël Douguet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Dimitri Huijbreghts made a huge save. Dimitri Huijbreghts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gildas Dutto, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Kris Van Meerbeek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Lamine Araujo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Esquirla FC's Kris Van Meerbeek in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Labbeville's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kris Van Meerbeek in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lamine Araujo saved Labbeville from getting behind. Arthur Van Brussel was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 37 minutes into the match. After 38 played minutes Esquirla FC got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Van Brussel. The crowd rose to their feet as Gildas Dutto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dimitri Huijbreghts. That made the score 2-1 in the 42 minute of play. Dimitri Huijbreghts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gildas Dutto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jelle De Boeck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jelle De Boeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lamine Araujo having to interfere. In the 59th minute Gildas Dutto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitri Huijbreghts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dimitri Huijbreghts came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Labbeville's Gildas Dutto. But to his dismay, Gildas Dutto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Dimitri Huijbreghts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yann Porquet in the 68th minute of play. Gildas Dutto kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Jelle De Boeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esquirla FC's Dimitri Huijbreghts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gildas Dutto in the 74th minute of play. When Merlin Mourgues fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Labbeville's protests and gave Merlin Mourgues a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of Labbeville:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Esquirla FC:s goal. Esquirla FC's Dimitri Huijbreghts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gildas Dutto in the 85th minute of play.
