In the 9th minute, Gervásio Parente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sérgio Passos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Santiago, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 37 played minutes, GD JULIO DINIS's Norberto Santana shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hermano Salvado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GD JULIO DINIS reached it. GD JULIO DINIS's Sérgio Passos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save GD JULIO DINIS from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zeferino Castilho in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hermano Salvado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sérgio Passos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alcides Sardinha in the 43rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Martinho Quadros kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sérgio Passos. That made the score 2-1 in the 45 minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geraldo Lopes to strike the kick off in the second half. GD JULIO DINIS's Sérgio Passos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alcides Sardinha in the 58th minute of play. Kevin Santiago took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sérgio Passos. Sérgio Passos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. With a little luck, Tutti Mammati's Hermano Salvado got control of the ball when Geraldo Lopes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hermano Salvado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After 68 minutes Tutti Mammati's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Norberto Santana who took care of the corner kick. Geraldo Lopes made a great header on GD JULIO DINIS's corner, it was just that Tutti Mammati's Hermano Salvado managed to reach the ball for a save. Sérgio Passos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martinho Quadros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Higino Abreu lost his temper 73 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Tutti Mammati's Martinho Quadros got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
