Ulryk Hatman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Manuel Vargas made a huge save. In the 24th play minute Ulryk Hatman came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Manuel Vargas. 3-0. In the 31stth minute of the game Ulryk Hatman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Freiburg 09's Manuel Vargas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 32 played minutes FC Wrocanka got a freekick which was hit by Ulryk Hatman. The audience thought a goal was coming when Czeslaw Pisarczyk got free with Manuel Vargas in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulryk Hatman in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Vargas prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raimundo Linhares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Éder Conde during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Manuel Vargas came out of the goal and Czeslaw Pisarczyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the SC Freiburg 09 defense, Ulryk Hatman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Vargas. The SC Freiburg 09 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Vargas should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulryk Hatman in the 84th minute of play forced SC Freiburg 09's goalkeeper Manuel Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, SC Freiburg 09's goal looked a bit too open when Ulryk Hatman came free, but Manuel Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
