Marek Olejasz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HHH. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwidon Watarz in the 18th minute of play forced HHH's goalkeeper Arif Gaffar Kutal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juliusz Piesciuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Edmund Jajko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ertan Kınıkaslan during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ertan Kınıkaslan hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Edmund Jajko might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arif Gaffar Kutal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmund Jajko ran back to his position shaking his head. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Juliusz Piesciuk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Arif Gaffar Kutal made a huge save. Gwidon Watarz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Gaffar Kutal having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Ertan Kınıkaslan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmund Jajko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Gaffar Kutal having to interfere. Marek Olejasz came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by HHH's Doğuş Tanyıldız. But to his dismay, Doğuş Tanyıldız quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Marek Olejasz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sufi Uçar went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. HHH's Arif Gaffar Kutal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save HHH from getting a goal against them. Witold Moryl charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Witold Moryl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Witold Moryl hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 79 played minutes, HHH's Hüsnü Murat shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marek Olejasz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in HHH reached it. 81 minutes into the game, Juliusz Piesciuk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave HHH the free kick. After some careless play in the KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ defense, Doğuş Tanyıldız kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marek Olejasz. The KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marek Olejasz should have stopped the shot. Marek Olejasz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doğuş Tanyıldız in the 88th minute of play. After 93 minutes of play, KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's Edmund Jajko made it 6-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arif Gaffar Kutal was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juliusz Piesciuk in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arif Gaffar Kutal saved HHH from getting behind. KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because HHH had won, even though KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ had held more of the ball.
