The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enrique Peterson helped the player get up and apologised. The audience was convinced that Kamen Sarandev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rusty Deering was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Rusty Deering took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafail Bumbovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC CSKA's Atanas Dlúgnekov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save FC CSKA from getting a goal against them. ForestFire's Rusty Deering played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafail Bumbovski in the 17th minute of play. After 18 minutes of play ForestFire's Enrique Peterson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, FC CSKA's Kamen Sarandev got a free kick in the 25th minute. Atanas Dlúgnekov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tuan Zimmerman in the 26th minute of the match. After 33 played minutes ForestFire got a freekick which was hit by Robert Huddleston. Genko Kalpachki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th match minute, FC CSKA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafail Bumbovski to maneuver through the defense. FC CSKA's Atanas Dlúgnekov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tuan Zimmerman in the 48th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tuan Zimmerman made a kick off. Rafail Bumbovski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Rusty Deering tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tuan Zimmerman kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in ForestFire's zone, Genko Kalpachki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rusty Deering came out of the goal and Genko Kalpachki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 58 played minutes ForestFire got a freekick which was hit by Cary Griggs. 58 minutes into the match, FC CSKA's Vangel Dinev broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Rusty Deering was a little too slow when Rafail Bumbovski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 0-1. Petar Kutinov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rusty Deering having to interfere. After a rather tough play, ForestFire's Domenico Hickman got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After 75 minutes, Gancho Topencharov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC CSKA and the ForestFire players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC CSKA's Gancho Topencharov got a free kick in the 75th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tuan Zimmerman couldn't finish the play. Rafail Bumbovski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Rusty Deering made a huge save. A collision led to FC CSKA getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Gancho Topencharov hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Genko Kalpachki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petar Kutinov got free with Rusty Deering in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over FC CSKA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ForestFire throughout the match.
