Braulio Ledesma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Ledesma in the 16th minute of play forced Los Liquisue FC's goalkeeper Genaro Flor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genaro Flor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Ledesma in the 23rd minute of the match. Omar Telmo made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Atilano Quintan sent off a good shot on target. Omar Telmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Vitin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Cipriano Vitin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Liquisue FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 36th minute, Cipriano Vitin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Omar Telmo. The goal made the score 2-1. After 41 played minutes, Caricancha's Leandro Eufemio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Genaro Flor came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Caricancha reached it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeremias Atauri made a kick off. Caricancha's Jeremias Atauri got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Braulio Ledesma charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Genaro Flor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Caricancha fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Caricancha's Sixto Gines looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 66 minutes into the match, Caricancha's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Quintan came free, but Omar Telmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omar Telmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Quintan, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Jeremias Atauri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 81 minutes, Lino Tercero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caricancha and the Los Liquisue FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Los Liquisue FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caricancha the free kick.
