The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes in the game Zbyszek Budrewicz did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Wincent Kosel. 9 minutes into the game, Rega Merida CF's Babhruvahana Maagaardshus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Czeslaw Jaroszewicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 13th minute, Babhruvahana Maagaardshus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Czeslaw Jaroszewicz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 19th minute Alfred Podowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pocho Citko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ludomil Grocholski struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Pocho Citko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Pawonków. Walery Fleszar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Czeslaw Jaroszewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Rega Merida CF's Babhruvahana Maagaardshus slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Czeslaw Jaroszewicz. That made the score 3-0 after 30 minutes of play. Kazimierz Poniewaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 38 minutes, Babhruvahana Maagaardshus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rega Merida CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Babhruvahana Maagaardshus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Czeslaw Jaroszewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Babhruvahana Maagaardshus in the 39th minute of the match. After having played for 47 minutes, Babhruvahana Maagaardshus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rega Merida CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Babhruvahana Maagaardshus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Fc Pawonków's Alfred Podowski got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute of the match Roland Jakubiak shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Czeslaw Jaroszewicz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Franciszek Andrysiak took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Czeslaw Jaroszewicz. Fc Pawonków's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Fc Pawonków booed when Rega Merida CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walery Fleszar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pocho Citko made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Kazimierz Poniewaz sent off a good shot on target.
