After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Olliver Todman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Australian Youth Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Olliver Todman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artur Maranhense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Walmyr de Salles hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute of the match Herman Heberle sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Artur Maranhense skillfully saved the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olliver Todman made a kick off. Oswaldo Fantini hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Dakota Gaffigan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Artur Maranhense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But to his dismay, Dakota Gaffigan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. FÊNIX F.C. made a substitution. Adelino Paraíba replaced Frédson Britto. With a little luck, FÊNIX F.C.'s Artur Maranhense got control of the ball when Neville Wal tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Australian Youth Academy's Neville Wal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Artur Maranhense. That made the score 0-4 after 87 minutes of play. Artur Maranhense made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Olliver Todman sent off a good shot on target. Artur Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neville Wal in the 94th minute of play. Neville Wal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. The FÊNIX F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Australian Youth Academy were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
