Flavio Corrente was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Flavio Corrente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belmiro Peñaranda in the 15th minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Corrente prevented the ball from getting in the gole. CRUZ DEL SUR's Abdul Esquerra got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd match minute, Medoacus Maior was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elia Minati to maneuver through the defense. José Ignacio Berguecio hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Cristoforo Barbanti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mónico Queirolo having to interfere. CRUZ DEL SUR played a much better game than Medoacus Maior and deserved their victory. The Medoacus Maior players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
