Edgard Travassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Zeledon Fagondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute Luiz Guilherme Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Fagondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reinaldo Queiroz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gonzalo Hermelando went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Benjamim de Moraes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zeledon Fagondo. Cavallino Rampante II's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Gonzalo Hermelando had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reinaldo Queiroz. Várzea F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gonzalo Hermelando was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. A collision led to Cavallino Rampante II getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Saul Ramos hit a great ball. Zeledon Fagondo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alessandro Mandrak showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 46 minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Cristobal Sazon kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Alessandro Mandrak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Várzea F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. A collision led to Cavallino Rampante II getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Zeledon Fagondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Mandrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Jailson Koehler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Alessandro Mandrak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zeledon Fagondo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Edgard Travassos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Várzea F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Edgard Travassos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeledon Fagondo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Várzea F.C. made a substitution. Ramiro Rosado replaced Alessandro Mandrak. Ramiro Rosado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
