If Eduardo Federigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Aguinhas's goalie and right to Severiano Cordarin. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Aguinhas's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 21 played minutes TIBURON F.C got a freekick which was hit by Damaso Chinto. In the 22nd minute of the match Sandrinho da Silveira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cipriano Dantae skillfully saved the ball. Cipriano Dantae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Guedes in the 23rd minute of play. Eurico Diniz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Esteban Vermudo's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Eurico Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Vermudo in the 26th minute of the match. When Esteban Vermudo came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the TIBURON F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteban Vermudo couldn't finish the play. Aguinhas's Eurico Diniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Mastantuono in the 34th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Augusto Guedes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cipriano Dantae. Augusto Guedes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 47 minutes of play, TIBURON F.C's Franco Mastantuono made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eurico Diniz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celsinho Tróia made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Aguinhas's Sandrinho da Silveira got a free kick in the 60th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of TIBURON F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Aguinhas:s goal. Leandro Gonzalez Pirez's late challenge caught a Aguinhas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leandro Gonzalez Pirez helped the player get up and apologised. After 71 played minutes TIBURON F.C got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Federigo. Esteban Vermudo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cipriano Dantae didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celsinho Tróia went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Severiano Cordarin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Eurico Diniz made a huge save. TIBURON F.C's Esteban Vermudo got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eurico Diniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Vermudo in the 88th minute of play. When Sandrinho da Silveira fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aguinhas's protests and gave Sandrinho da Silveira a yellow card for diving instead. Leandro Gonzalez Pirez was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 100 minutes into the match. In the 99th minute, one of TIBURON F.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for TIBURON F.C. Many of TIBURON F.C's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. TIBURON F.C may have spent more time on the ball, but Aguinhas were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
