Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Murilo Nølev successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 19th minute, Flávio Mendonça ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marian Răchitan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Sabin Răchitan managed to get in a good position for a shot. SuperSteauaBazatii★DAC★'s supporters rose to their feet, but Sabin Răchitan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murilo Nølev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SuperSteauaBazatii★DAC★'s Marian Răchitan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Donatello in the 28th minute of play. Murilo Nølev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucian Manu in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of PIAUÍ FC booed when SuperSteauaBazatii★DAC★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabin Răchitan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Lucian Manu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Murilo Nølev. That made the score 1-1 in the 37 minute of play. In the 41st minute, Sever Curta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SuperSteauaBazatii★DAC★ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Murilo Nølev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucian Manu in the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abel Donatello stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, SuperSteauaBazatii★DAC★'s goal looked a bit too open when Abel Donatello came free, but Marian Răchitan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentin Cârnu hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Marian Răchitan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emerson Hermes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 56 minute of play. Eugen Contra's late challenge caught a PIAUÍ FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugen Contra helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th match minute, SuperSteauaBazatii★DAC★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugen Contra to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of PIAUÍ FC booed when SuperSteauaBazatii★DAC★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Trăistaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Lucian Manu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Murilo Nølev was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The SuperSteauaBazatii★DAC★ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. PIAUÍ FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
