The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽ booed when Black horses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raivo Stelbaums didn't get a good kick on the ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽ reached it. 14 minutes into the match, ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s goal looked a bit too open when Alvis Bāliņš came free, but Paulino Slight reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimír Cavada in the 15th minute of play forced Black horses's goalkeeper Brencis Tanbergs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
